I love telling a story. The right story has all the elements: back story, detail, suspense and humor. Every word needs to build to develop those elements. I graduated with an English degree from the University of Illinois Springfield and I had dreams of writing amazing stories or, at the very least, generating copy. I've written some copy, but I mostly just manage people. I work for a marketing company in downtown St. Louis. I like what I do, but I mostly love the company that employs me.
So, since I don't get to live my dream in the sense I planned, I write short stories about a crime fighter with a dadbod, a slap stick sense of humor, and perhaps a questionable diet. I also prefer to live in fantasy land free from hate and racism: I play fantasy football, hockey and baseball. I've had a lot of successes and a lot failures. I'm a fan through and through and understand the nuance to the games, so I'm pretty good at identifying players I want to grab. I've been playing fantasy sports since college in the early 2000's, Back then it usually consisted of spending to a salary cap and there was only rotisserie. I only play the sports that capture my fandom.
I make lots of Always Sunny references plus other random references from shows or movies.
Oh, and as a consumer who does a lot of research before making purchases, I'm not shy about delivering my opinion.
